If you try to log in via Facebook or Google but are unsuccessful (encountering a page saying the account needs to be linked or that a connection already exists), it may be because the provider has updated their handling of Single Sign-On (SSO) since you last logged in. This is what allows you to log in to the system via your Google/Facebook account.
When they do this, there's a risk that the connection between your Google/Facebook account gets disrupted and needs to be re-linked, but you can easily fix this! π
If you do not have a "regular" login method (with a username and password directly in the system) from before, you will need our help to create one.
Once that's done, you can re-link the account to Facebook/Google again!
Here's how you do it:
Log in to your account
Go to "Settings"
Select the "Log-in method" tab
Click "Remove" on the option you have linked (Google or Facebook)
Then click "Add" again
Done!
