Our tool contains cookies, as they are called. A cookie is a small data file that a website saves on your computer when you visit it.

Cookies are temporarily stored on your computer

We use session cookies and session IDs so that you can perform various types of searches in our databases.

Cookies are like small notepads that websites use to remember important information about you. They are stored in your browser and contain details like your settings, your login status, and even items in your virtual shopping cart on e-commerce sites.

For example, when you log in to your favorite forum and then return the next day without needing to sign in again, it's thanks to cookies that the website remembers you're already signed in.

This type of cookie is only used for the communication between your computer and our server to work. It does not give us any information about you as a user, and it cannot transmit any viruses to you!

You can disable cookies

If you do not accept the use of cookies, you can change the setting in your browser so that it does not allow cookies. However, then you cannot use the services that require login.

If the website/tool does not work even though you are using a browser that should be supported, it may be because cookies are not enabled/allowed. Check this in your browser. It varies between browsers how cookies are activated, but usually, the options are available in the browser's settings.

Clear cookies

Many things can actually be solved by clearing cookies! For example, if you have trouble attaching files in an application form, if the page does not load properly, or if information in an application form is not saved correctly. The small data files that are then saved in your browser (cookies) can block the page from functioning as it should, and then you may need to clear them and start over.

How you clear cookies varies from browser to browser but can usually be found in the browser settings.

When you clear cookies, it's also important to completely close the browser you are using and open a new window before retrying what you were doing before. That way, you ensure that there are no cookie crumbs left lying around! πŸͺ🧹
